Bumudzo Old Peoples Home Visit

As God's love we visited Bumudzo old people's home as one of our projects. Honoring the wisdom of the elders and sharing love at the old people’s home, as we are reminded by the word ‘Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.’ (Leviticus 19:32) 

And through their counsel, we find truth in ‘Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?’ (Job 12:12)." We got an opportunity to share our love and break bread together as they shared many words of wisdom with us. 

Listening to the life stories of the elderly, filled with both triumphs and trials, was a priceless gift. Their journeys reminded us that ‘There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.’ (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Through their wisdom, we learned that even in challenges, grace prevails, and each lesson shapes a beautiful, meaningful life.

Pure joy filled the atmosphere as we laughed  with the elderly. Their smiles, even with gaps where teeth once were, radiated warmth and happiness. ‘A cheerful heart is good medicine.’ (Proverbs 17:22) Truly, love and presence are the best gifts we can give.
